BLACK CROW FALLING follows Max Wiez as he talks his way around the world with stops in Prague, Amsterdam, Bangkok and the Costa del Sol—reinventing himself again and again, most memorably as a would-be art dealer selling manufactured genius to people too rich to know better. It is a novel about trading what we love and desire for something we think we cannot lose.

Readers of Gogol’s Dead Souls, Hamsun’s Hunger, and Kundera’s Unbearable Lightness of Being will appreciate the story, the voice, and structure.
